This Malaysian badminton star holds the no. 1 spot in the world Badminton Rankings at present. Lee specializes in playing singles and has set a lot of records as well in his career till now. He is the only Malaysian shuttler to have held the no. 1 ranking for more than a year. This clarifies how much dedicated and consistently he has been playing badminton. Lee always loved playing basketball but was banned by his mother due to the searing heat of the basketball court where he used to practice. That one thing diverged the life of Lee towards badminton.

By the age of 28 Lin had completed the “Super Grand Slam” having won all the nine major titles in the badminton world. He thereafter became the first and only player to achieve this feat. Lin is known more by his nickname i.e. “SUPER DAN” by the media and his fans. This nickname came into light when Peter Gade dubbed him so after failing to win against Lin in “All England Open Finals”.
